In approaching Diamond Bank’s project (now known as Access Bank Plc), the design inspiration was drawn from the essence of the Bank’s iconic brand – the diamond shape. Situated on a site bordered by three roads, our challenge was to create an approachable facade on all three sides, reflecting the Bank’s identity while responding thoughtfully to the environment.
The focal point of our design concept was the facade, where we ingeniously interpreted the form of a diamond into the architectural language. The diagonal façade was the shape of a diamond, and it had a roof covering supported by steel poles with a glass façade reflecting and melting into the neighborhood. This unique approach created a visually captivating exterior that spoke directly to Diamond Bank’s brand identity, offering a distinct and recognizable presence from every approach.
The interior was no exception to our pursuit of excellence. Quality finishes and luxury materials were meticulously selected to reflect the Bank’s commitment to sophistication and elegance, ensuring a seamless extension of its brand within the built environment.
